Live & Loud: METALLICA - M72 World Tour
SOLD OUT Across Australia
Months after METALLICA confirmed that its record-breaking M72 World Tour will be coming to Australia and New Zealand in November of 2025, the entire tour became SOLD OUT to the general public. This leg of the M72 World Tour will see the band visit stadiums in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland.
These dates will feature METALLICA performing at the end of each stadium and will include the infamous Snake Pit extending from the front of the stage. There will be a full complement of Enhanced Experiences available, ranging from access to a meet and greet, production and stage tour, food and beverage in the “Black Box” lounge, early entry into the venue, and the aforementioned Snake Pit. The very popular “I Disappear Ticket” will also be available, which enables fans to attend to all six shows in Australia and New Zealand, and travel packages including tickets and hotel will be available in four of the six cities.

Can I Get Tickets?
Tixel
Tixel is an Australian-based fan-to-fan ticketing marketplace designed to provide a safe and fair way to resell event tickets, especially from major platforms like Ticketmaster and Ticketek, at fair value. Founded in 2017 by music fans frustrated with fake ticket scams, Tixel implements anti-fraud technology, a buyer guarantee, and capped prices to protect against scammers and scalpers, ensuring that only real tickets for genuine fans are available. Users can list tickets directly from their ticketing accounts or via unique sharing links, and Tixel handles the secure transfer of funds once a sale is finalized. Think of it like your E-bay for tickets.

Watch out for Scams
Other common ticket resale sites such as Viagogo pop up when you search for any event through Google. While these international ticketing resale sites offer a similar service to Tixel, we recommend avoiding this option as you will be subjected to high ticket fees and possible refusal of entry at the door. It is also reported that these sites are notorious for difficulty obtaining a refund and in many cases this has not possible for buyers.
Another scam to look out for are bots on platforms like Facebook. These usually appear as real people in the comments offering to sell tickets that they can no longer use. The profiles associated with these very convincing posts will have profile pictures that look legitimate honest people, even reflected when you look at their profile. It’s hard to distinguish between a scam and reality so avoid pursuing this at option all costs. Don’t let yourself be cat-fished!
