Heading to Australia and New Zealand next month with a re-recorded version of their seminal 1992 album "Let's Knife", Osaka's SHONEN KNIFE have been around the block a few times, winning over several generations of fans, including the late Kurt Cobain, who took the band on tour before "Nevermind" blew a hole in the music world. Heading to Australia and New Zealand for a tour including Brisbane's Zed51 and the Croxton Block Party in Melbourne, Sense sat down with Naoko to wind back the clock on their stellar career and explore Japan's musical underground.
